Dominus Vobiscum! (latin for the ‘Lord be with you!”)

The College Catholic is a website and blog providing young adults (college students) a focal point for ways they can grow in their Catholic faith. While originally started as a project for a marketing course, I felt compelled to write this blog after hearing God’s calling in my own life after graduating high school. Opening the pages of scripture for the first time, a pivoting and transformation moment, helped me realize what it meant to be loved and created ON purpose and FOR a purpose. This spiritual hunger to learn more about the faith soon after resulted into a positive chain reaction in my life; I started becoming an active member in my parish community, began going to confession more, learned how to pray the rosary, and even filled my screen time with consuming positive Catholic media, etc. I want every person, especially young adults feeling lost or doubting their self-worth, to experience the joy of living in relationship with God. It doesn’t mean life is easier, but after realizing the God of the Universe is merely a breath away, it changes your approach to everything.
